Professional Experience:

James Hosking is a veteran prosecutor who has served the citizens of San Bernardino County as a prosecutor for over a decade. In addition to his prosecutorial duties, Hosking also instructs other prosecutors as well as law enforcement officers on topics such as search & seizure law, privileged communications, narcotics investigations and prosecutions, among others.

Community Involvement:

James believes we have an obligation to participate in, and give back to, our communities. To that end, he has always been actively involved in his community – whether in college, law school or in his professional life.

Education:

James is a graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara, Loyola Law School, and Chapman University. He has also achieved one of the most advanced levels of legal education – earning an LL.M. in Prosecutorial Science.

Family:

I met my wife, Peggy, while a student at Loyola Law School. We married in 2000. Peggy is a member of the Business Planning & Transactions Group of Best, Best & Krieger in Riverside, California. We have made the Inland Empire our home since the day we were married.
